Who would have thought to add strawberries into a grilled cheese sandwich? (Clearly someone with better culinary skills than I.) This recipe calls for a delicate but full flavor mix of brie, strawberries, basil, and balsamic vinegar; with what must not only be incredibly tasty, but appetizingly colorful too. DIY Lollipops with Edible Flowers

Can you think of anything sweeter (wink wink) to have around for Summertime party favors than these DIY lollipops with edible flowers? I sure can’t. I’ve got an upcoming pop-up event that I’ll be taking part in as a vendor of all things flowers and I just might have to add a bunch of these to my booth. Super pretty and I imagine quite tasty, too. TGIF! Cool Cocktail Recipes for a Chill Weekend

Can I get a TGIF?! Does anyone say that anymore? Have I ever said it before and, if not, why am I using it now? Because it’s Friday! And I’m almost done with work! And the weekend is looking sunny and warm over in my neck of the Pacific Coast. So sunny and warm, in fact, that I’m craving a good cocktail to kick things off. But alas, I have nothing in my home and so I’ll look to these cool cocktail recipes to prep for the next round. Let’s start with the Rosé-Aperol Spritzer (above) via Bon Appetit. A perfect combo of light and refreshing. And how about these Glitter Guide bevvies made using mimosa ice cubes? Awesome, huh? Lest we forget a good Pimm’s punch recipe. Oh my gosh, pretty. See its full recipe over on Vegetarian Ventures. One more? Try this brunch cocktail!

Seasonal Garden Cocktail Recipe with Beet Simple Syrup

I’m not much of a drinker, but I for sure love a tasty seasonal cocktail every now and again. It’s why Sama Sama Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in town; their drinks are well flavored, refreshing, just the right strength to get this lightweight girl tipsy… and they’re super pretty, too. The Fresh Exchange crafted this delicious sounding bevy, including gin, beet syrup, mint, fennel, and a splash of fizz. I want it right this second, but my coffee and toast with almond butter and smushed bananas will have to do until Happy Hour strikes. Check out the full recipe here!
