  • In which I’m learning to dissolve the dictates of past perceptions (fascinating), harness the power of the present moment (currently: polishing off Girl Scout cookies), and make my own damn magic for the future (on the docket: a charmed life with loving purpose). But I’m not banking on luck. Instead I’m practicing focus on what I want to expand and hoping for some loveliness to come of it. And I wish the same for you. Love + Cookies, y’all. (Who’s with me?)
  • Reminiscing all day long about the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco...so many sighs from my longing heart.
  • A couple of years ago, my little home was featured on @apartmenttherapy and one of the comments simply read, “I hate the polka dots.” My immediate thought was that she maybe wouldn’t have felt that if she had the chance to see how they share the sunlight with such gusto. My next thought was, for the love of all that is holy, why even take the time and energy to make your one contribution be the antithesis of kindness. All thoughts following that have been how much I still love the polka dots and all is again well in Cath World. My advice: Keep spaces for happy in your home.
